Vic Ellis

Vic joined ATS in 2019 as Software and Applications Manager, with over 20 years in the BEMS industry. His career has taken him from Commissioning and Applications Engineer through to Project Manager, working across both public and private sector projects.

Vic takes BEMS projects from initial design through to commissioning and handover, including software engineering, I/O schedules, control system design, network architecture, control panel design, field device verification and client training. He has worked across Trend, Siemens, Satchwell, Schneider and American Auto-Matrix systems.

Training & Qualifications

Vic holds City & Guilds Electrical Installation and ONC Electrical Engineering qualifications, together with HV Maintenance & Switching and a range of Siemens engineering qualifications. His Trend background includes 963 Engineering, IQ Engineering, IQ3 Engineering, System Engineering, Ethernet Awareness and TOPS, becoming a Trend Expert in 2013.

Project Experience

Vic has worked on projects including Middlemoor Police Station, National Satellite Training Facility, 100 Temple Street, 4 Coleman Street and Royal Cornwall Hospital, covering design, software writing, commissioning, major BMS upgrades and complex building controls.
