The Life Sciences Building is the University of Bristol’s largest construction to date and was officially opened by Sir David Attenborough.


Joining together Biologists, Chemists, Computer Scientists, Engineers, Mathematicians and Earth Scientists it houses the largest teaching labs in the UK and is the focal point for world-leading research into 21st century challenges such as food security and environmental conservation.

The BEMS close control of both Heating and Cooling Systems via flow monitoring stations ensures the buildings energy efficiency is maximised, as well as ensuring the testing and research parameters are maintained via Primary and Secondary air pressure regimes.
