Project Overview

The commercial office space, occupied by Price Waterhouse Cooper, has been designed to meet the stringent BREEAM Excellent Standard and has been recognized for its excellence in sustainability. The project was awarded the RICS Southwest Commercial Project of the Year, which is a testament to its innovative design and eco-friendly features.

One of the notable features of the building is its Building Energy Management System (BEMS), which makes use of the cooling potential of the dock water in the adjacent harbour for environmental control. This innovative solution not only reduces the building’s energy consumption but also helps maintain its sustainability and minimal carbon footprint. To ensure compliance with strict Environment Agency legislation associated with the Dock water system, the BEMS has been designed with the highest level of precision and attention to detail.

Overall, this building stands as an excellent example of how innovative design solutions can be used to achieve sustainability and energy efficiency, by utilizing an innovative BMS. This building represents a new standard for eco-friendly commercial spaces.
